Having been in the Fire Service for over 30 years with experience and professional qualifications in both fire, safety and personnel management, I have offered, since 1995, a consultancy service covering a range of services for which I am well qualified.

I am an associate of a number of national companies and my work has included a number of specialist areas well as general fire safety. Examples of this are: fire certification on behalf of HSE, Defence risk assessment for both conventional and nuclear risks, major power station, etc.

My experience has covered being an adviser on the construction and operation of the Channel Tunnel and a range of major projects.

For the last five years of my service career I was the Deputy Chief Officer of Cheshire Fire Brigade which covers one of the centres of the petro-chemical industry and in addition to reponsibilities for operational response my references included health, safety and personnel issues, including insurance claims, accident investigation and sickness managment.

With regard to the latter I developed a very proactive response which proved succesful, whilst with health and safety I was responsible for developing national policies to meet the duties of all Fire Brigades in the United Kingdom.
